Other Ways To Engage

Other Ways to Engage (Job Shadows, Career Interview and Career Panel)

Interested in engaging with our campus community in other ways? We also provide experiences for students to explore their fields of interest through career discussions, informational interviews and/or job shadows

  • Job Shadow: Students develop an understanding of career and industry through professional working environments. Job shadowing gives them an on-the-job experience to learn from professionals at their workplace for four hours up to several days during a week.
  • Informational Interview: A 30-minute to a one-hour conversation between a student and an industry professional. Students ask questions to gain a deeper insight into the field to learn about their interest career path.
  • Career Panel: Participation in a 50-minute career panel. Lend your expertise, share your journey and provide advice to students pursuing a degree in your field.
