Students must have access to technology and the internet to proceed.

New students to GCC begin here, all others move to Step 2.

New students to GCC must apply for admission to GCC online at admissions.maricopa.edu. When completing the application, students must select Glendale Community College for Credit and select term spring 2023.

Eligibility for in-state tuition is determined by submitting Acceptable Documents to Establish Lawful Presence, along with a photo ID and having lived in Arizona for a minimum of one year. Students may submit their documents when completing the online Next Steps form during Step 4.

If you have established lawful presence but have not lived in Arizona for at least one year, your parent/guardian may complete the online form DOMICILE AFFIDAVIT - Dependent Student and provide the required documents on behalf of their dependent student for consideration of the in-state tuition rate. The student will sign into the online form using their MEID@maricopa.edu and password. This should be submitted before the registration deadline.

For specific course placement, refer to your high school Dual Enrollment Course Offerings and Dual Placement Testing Guide. Also, you may review both the Dual Course Prerequisites and Student Placement Information guides. 

If your college class requires testing, you may complete a free EdReady Placement Exam online. The student will use their MEID@maricopa.edu and password to sign into EdReady. Or contact GCC’s Testing Services to schedule an appointment for the Accuplacer placement test. All placement tests are at no cost.

Complete the online Early College Under 18 Financial Responsibility and FERPA/Proxy during Step 4.

New students begin here by logging in using your MEID@maricopa.edu and password to complete the Next Steps form. Students will receive an email from do.not.reply@forms.maricopa.edu on how to add classes once their information has been verified. 

Once logged in, submit a colored copy of an identification document by selecting one of the following:

  • Current Arizona Driver’s License or
  • Current Arizona Learner’s Permit or
  • Current Arizona State Identification Card or
  • High school ID with U.S. Issued Birth Certificate (legible black and white copies will be accepted)
  • Fill in GPA (juniors and seniors only) and upload your HS unofficial transcript if you are junior or senior.
  • Upload SAT and ACT scores if applicable.
  • If under 18, complete online Early College Under 18 Financial Responsibility and FERPA/Proxy form.

You will then be prompted to choose Glendale Community College, select Spring for the term and enter your college courses. Verify your college courses via the course offerings. Electronically sign the form and click submit. 

Please allow 7-10 business days (Monday-Friday) for the college you selected to review your form. Updates will NOT be sent to your personal email address. You will receive an email from do.not.reply@forms.maricopa.edu on how to add classes once your information has been verified. 

 

Returning students begin here by logging in using your MEID@maricopa.edu and password. If you are new to GCC, make sure you are admitted to GCC. If you need to apply for admission you must first log in with your MEID@maricopa.edu and password to apply.

After you have applied to GCC for credit for spring 2023, click the above link for Returning students begin here to submit your online Next Steps form.

Pay tuition and fees to the college prior to the final payment deadline. 

  • Glendale Union High School District and Ridgeline Academy students ONLY will pay at the high school bookstore. 

When you add the class(es), your class/finance charges will appear in the Student Center, payment options may be made online through the Student Center, by phone (623-845-3589 option 4).
