Are you interested in the practice of meditation? All GCC students, staff, and faculty are welcome to join our guided meditation sessions! Guided meditation sessions occur at the Center for Learning (CL-36) the following days and times:

  • Monday & Wednesday, 3:00PM - 3:30PM 
  • Tuesday & Thursday, 2:30PM - 3:00PM

Need a place to meditate, pray, or relax? Visit our Mindfulness Space, which is available for the purposes of meditation, prayer, and relaxation during the Center for Learning’s operational hours.

Mindfulness is Beneficial

Students who practice mindfulness can be more successful at achieving their educational and life goals. Longitudinal studies indicate that mindfulness has several benefits:

  • Trains attention
  • Increases concentration
  • Reduces stress
