Digital Media Arts

Digital Media Arts

Digital Media Arts students learn graphic design, animation, interactivity, and multimedia production skills, with an emphasis on critical thinking, written communication, and teamwork. Coursework will challenge you to develop your own digital design method, production workflow, and conceptual aesthetic. By honing these critical skills you will compile an online multimedia portfolio, the first step toward entering the job market or transferring to a four-year program.

AAS

The Associate in Applied Science (AAS) in Digital Media Arts program was created by listening and responding to the needs of local industry experts. We have an active Advisory Board that helps guide the program to ensure we are teaching best practices used by the experts. The Digital Media Arts program excels in quality teaching, equipment and facilities.

Digital Media Arts graduates are qualified to apply for entry-level jobs in animation, graphic design, social media marketing, web design, web development, video production, 3d modeling or other creative positions.  Many graduates are employed at design, marketing, advertising firms or work in-house or freelance for local businesses.
