Student Art PaintingThe Art & Humanities Department provides Fine Art curriculum designed to expand a student's technical skills and aesthetic sensibility. Courses are offered in multiple disciplines and focus on visual literacy, critical thinking, and the ability to creatively communicate concepts through a visual platform. Students receive instruction by working artists in state-of-the-art facilities and small class sizes. Highlights of the academic year include the publication of student artwork in The Traveler, a visual/literary arts journal, and a Student Art Exhibition each Spring.


The AAFA in Fine Arts is a University transfer pathways degree. More information can be found in the Pathway Map Options or by contacting the Art Department. 

Two Dimensional Studies

Courses are offered in various mediums including Drawing, Life Drawing, Two-Dimensional Design, Painting, Watercolor, Photography, Color, and Printmaking.

Three Dimensional Studies

Courses are offered in Ceramics, Jewelry, Glass, Three-Dimensional Design and Sculpture.
