We are excited that you are interested in becoming a Glendale Gaucho. Taking a campus tour is one of the best ways to make sure that GCC is the right fit for you. We look forward to taking you around our beautiful campuses, showing you our state-of-the-art facilities, reviewing academic offerings, perhaps introducing you to faculty or students and filling you in on all the fun and interesting campus activities.

As soon as you step onto campus you will see what makes GCC unique and what it is like to be a Gaucho.

Campus Tours and Information Sessions

GCC offers individualized small and large group tours and information sessions to interested students, K-12 partners, and community.

Small Group Information Session (1-15 individuals) tours provide an overview of admissions, enrollment, financial aid, and an open Q&A dialogue to address any questions from participants. Note: In-person walking tours available monthly, October – April; self-guided tours permissible during regular hours of operation.

Large Group Tours (16 or more) customized large group presentation and campus tours, highlighting areas and programs of interest.

Scheduling your visit

Please schedule your visit at least two weeks in advance to ensure we can accommodate your needs. You will receive an e-mail within three business days to confirm the date and time of your campus visit.

Things to keep in mind…

Tours and Information Sessions will run approximately 45 minutes to an hour., please plan accordingly.
When scheduling your tour, please let us know if you have specific requests, accommodations, and/or areas of interest around departments, programs, or degrees.

Thank you for expressing interest in scheduling large group tours (more than 15 people) to Glendale Community College! The Student Life office is excited to work with you on hosting your group on our big beautiful campus. Our goal is to to plan an informative and effective campus tour for you and your students. Please submit your large group visit at least 2 weeks in advance before your preferred date. To ensure a great and informative visit, please read the following expectations we have for our visitors.* If you have any questions, please email tours@gccaz.edu.

Group Acknowledgement

I understand that 24 hours' notice of a cancelled group visit is expected. It is important that we can notify the staff and offices working on your visit of such a cancellation.

I understand that if my group will not arrive on campus at the confirmed visit time or is running late, I will contact the Student Life office at (623) 845-3525.

I understand that if, for whatever reason, we are not able to arrive at the scheduled time, our visit will be abbreviated as needed to allow GCC students and staff working with the group to manage other commitments.

I understand that it is expected I will have an appropriate number of chaperones for the number of students that I will be bringing to campus. One chaperone for every twelve students is recommended.

I understand it is expected that the chaperones will speak to the students before arriving on campus to cover the appropriate behavior while visiting campus.

I understand that it is expected that the chaperones will address any inappropriate behavior by the students immediately.

I understand it is expected that the students will turn off their cell phones and any music on the visit.

I understand it is expected that the students will listen and be respectful of their GCC Campus Tour Guide, GCC offices and the GCC community.

Individual, Small Group Tours, and Information Sessions are available the 2nd Wednesday of the Month, at 10:00am and 4:00pm.
