Spring 2026 Events and Activities

GCC Achieve Innovation Challenge 2026

The GCC Achieve Innovation Challenge 2026 took place on April 8th and was filled with energy, creativity, and a powerful sense of community. From the moment students took the stage, it was clear this was more than a competition. It was a celebration of ideas, courage, and the drive to create something meaningful.

The event showcased 10 student finalists, each delivering innovative and thoughtful ideas on how to connect with and uplift communities. The preparation, passion, and willingness of our students to share their vision is something they should all be proud of. The dedication and hard work from all the student entries was truly inspiring.

This event would not have been possible without members of our community contributing the prize funding allowing us the opportunity to award $18,500 to our entrepreneurial students. A huge thank you to Credit Union West, NACCE Everyday Entrepreneur Program, Grand Canyon University, and ASU Blackstone LaunchPad. In addition to our contributors, we want to extend our thanks to the judges who donated their time and expertise necessary to make this event a success: Ryan O'Connor (Credit Union West), Gordi Mikalacki (Elmm Law Group), Vanessa Arazia (Arizona's Family), Lynette Fredrick (The Black Sheep), and Ryan Lithman (VAI Resorts).
