Gaucho Globe awards recognize faculty and staff who excel in their jobs and consistently go above and beyond to make Glendale Community College a better place for students, faculty and staff.  Each recipient was nominated by their peers and then voted on by a committee.

Arizona’s demand for qualified cybersecurity and information technology (IT) professionals will only grow. To help close the workforce gap, Glendale Community College (GCC) and its nine sister colleges within the Maricopa County Community College District are creating a career pipeline for the next generation of IT and cybersecurity professionals.

Dr. Stefanie Gardner, Clarinet, Chamber Music, and Music Theory faculty at Glendale Community College has been named in the Musical America Top 30 Professionals.

GCC is the only community college admitted this year as well as being the first and only accredited community college in the state of Arizona.

In June of 2023, GCC was awarded program approval by the NBHWC and more recently received
approval by the Higher Learning Commission. Classes are beginning this Fall semester.

Glendale Community College teamed up with JC Supercars and Helping Hands for Single Moms to present GCC nursing student, Amber McCarty, with a beautiful 2012 Kia Optima.

Glendale Community College will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Gaucho Security Operations Center (GSOC), on August 18, 2023.

Glendale Community College (GCC) is one of only 149 universities and colleges around the world to be honored by Exercise is Medicine® for its efforts to create a culture of wellness on campus.
