Public Notice of Upcoming Accreditation Review Visit by ACEN
The Glendale Community College (GCC) Nursing program announces that it will host a site visit for continuing accreditation of its Associate Degree nursing program by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN). You are invited to meet with the site visit team and share your comments about the program virtually or in person at a meeting scheduled from 11:15 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 11th, 2026. The in-person meeting will be held in the LS Building LS 106. The meeting is also available virtually and can be accessed with the following link:

Effective July 1, 2025 through June 30, 2026, the Nurse Assistant (NA) requirement for application to the MaricopaNursing Registered Nursing (RN) program is no longer required.

- Ability to obtain a bachelor’s degree in nursing while earning your associate’s degree in the Concurrent Enrollment Program (CEP)

Glendale Community College is fully accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) and GCC’s Associate in Applied Science (AAS) Nursing Program is approved by the Arizona State Board of Nursing.
