Biography
Glendale Community College is a familiar home to me. I graduated with my Associates Degree in Nursing in 2006 from GCC. My career in nursing was spent at St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center. I started working in Oncology and then transferred to Critical Care after one year.
Being a registered nurse, I embraced many hats including that of an educator. After a year of having my license, I decided to return to school, graduating with my Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Grand Canyon University. I continued working in the Medical, Surgical and Trauma Intensive Care Unit while going back to school for my Masters in Nursing Education.
Lifelong learning is so important to me as an educator, a nurse and a student. I am currently working on my Doctorate in Nursing Practice with an emphasis on Educational Leadership. Knowledge is of no use unless you put it into practice. I am passionate about learning and I am fortunate to be able to help students on their path.
