Bio
Biography
I have been practicing as a nurse since 1990. I worked mainly in medical/surgical nursing ICU and ER. I began working for GCC in 1993 as a clinical instructor, and began teaching full time in 2000 after completing a Master's in Nursing Science. In 2009 I completed a Nurse Practitioner Certificate in family practice. Currently I teach medical surgical nursing in block II and Pathophysiology.
In addition to teaching at GCC I practice part time at a Family Medicine Clinic in Phoenix which serves mainly refugee population. Most recently I have completed a Doctorate in Nursing Practice in 2015.
