Are you a fan of the Marvel Comic Universe? Do you consider yourself an expert on Captain America? If so, bring your comic book knowledge to help out in this rollicking discussion about “Captain America: Civil War” and real-life privacy, and individualism, as well as the nature of freedom and security. This fun panel at Fan Fusion Phoenix, will drive right to the heart of fandom, and in some ways, our democracy. "Captain America: Civil War" raised fundamental questions about the nature of privacy, individualism and collective security. The Sokovia Accords detailed in the movie managed to tear a hole in the superhero community, and similar issues have erupted in our own timeline. Join scholars from Glendale Community College and several other Maricopa Community Colleges, plus local artist Val Hochberg as they come together and chat. This is an all-ages celebration of comic books, the Marvel Comic Universe and the wonder of childhood that none of us should ever lose.
