Audition Format Options
Video Submission
Include the following:
- A memorized monologue
- about 1 minute in length
- Contemporary - comedic
- Before you perform, your recording must include a verbal slate.
- Submit your headshot, résumé, and video audition song and monologue to: theaterarts@gccaz.edu.
- ALL Audition forms and video auditions and résumé and headshot submissions are due by Tuesday, January 24, 2023, at 11:59 p.m. to theaterarts@gccaz.edu.
- We will inform you by email if you are asked to attend in-person callbacks, which will be held on Friday, January 27, from 3:30 p.m. - 6 p.m.
In-person Auditions
Auditions are on Friday, January 27, 1 - 3 p.m. @ GCC Performing Arts Center
An appointment is required.
- Prepare to perform either:
- 32 Bars of a contemporary song (either a capella or with recorded music you provide)
- A contemporary monologue
- about 1 minute in length
- Contemporary - comedic or dramatic
- Before you perform, you must include a verbal slate.
Callbacks Will Be Held In Person
- Callbacks are on Friday, January 27, 3:30 p.m. - 6 p.m. @ GCC Performing Arts Center
- You will perform cold reads from the script.
- Please bring your schedule of conflicts.
