Mathematics

Math plays an essential role in our world. Some sectors and industries could not function without employees who have advanced mathematical training.

If you have a head for numbers and an interest in how math concepts and formulas describe real-world phenomena and make important forecasts, enroll in our Mathematics program. It can prepare you to transfer to a four-year university to earn a bachelor's degree in math, actuarial science, statistics, computational mathematical science, or related fields.

After completing your bachelor’s degree, you can work as an actuary, statistical assistant, K-12 educator, or business intelligence analyst. Completing a graduate degree will open up additional employment options, such as a mathematician, statistician, math instructor, or as an analyst in various fields, including finance, data science, cryptography, and scientific computing.
