Introduction to American Sign Language
Explore the fundamentals of American Sign Language in this engaging 3-week course. You’ll learn fingerspelling, vocabulary, grammar, facial expressions and develop a deeper appreciation for Deaf culture and visual language. No prior experience is required.

Community CPR at GCC
Earn a 2-year CPR Certification through our Community CPR Certification Course—perfect for students, parents, educators, and community members who want to be prepared in an emergency.
Participants will learn how to perform CPR on adults, children, and infants, how to use an AED (Automated External Defibrillator), and how to respond to choking incidents. This American Heart Association-aligned course is taught by certified instructors and provides hands-on, practical training in a supportive setting. Please note that this course is not intended for Healthcare Practitioners or those attempting to enter the field.

Video Production Basics
Lights, camera, action! Whether you're dreaming of directing your own short film, creating content for social media, producing a commercial, or launching a video blog, this dynamic course is your first step into the world of video production. You'll explore the three essential stages of production—pre-production, production, and post-production—and gain a clear understanding of how great videos come to life. While the course is primarily lecture-based, you'll also see hands-on demonstrations with real equipment to bring concepts to life. By the end, you'll walk away with a solid foundation in what it takes to plan, shoot, and edit compelling video content. It's also a great starting point for anyone considering a degree or career in Film and Video Production.

Film and Media Production (FMP): 3-Day High School Summer Film Production Camp
Do you have a story to tell? Do you dream of making films? Come make a short film with us!
Beginners and seasoned pros are welcome to this fun experience!
- Learn the art of filmmaking through workshops on screenwriting, storyboarding, cinematography & editing from a FMP professor
- Create and collaborate with your peers and make a micro-short (1–2 minute) film
- Screen your finished film for the group
- Walk away with a finished film, a sense of pride, and a wealth of knowledge and experience!
- Beginners and seasoned pros ages 14 to 18 are welcome to join this fun experience!
