Biography
I have been teaching in higher education for the past five years. Prior to entering academia, I developed 15 years of professional experience in training and development, with a focus on employee learning, leadership development, organizational effectiveness, and human resources. I have taught at both Glendale Community College and Pima Community College, with academic experience in Management, Hospitality Management, Restaurant Operations, Marketing, and Human Resources.
My professional background includes organizational leadership, training and development, human resources, marketing, and restaurant operations. I have supported marketing and operational initiatives for a major corporate organization, with a particular emphasis on new restaurant openings across the United States. These experiences have provided me with a practical understanding of leadership, organizational development, marketing, employee engagement, and the relationship between strategic initiatives and operational execution.
I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management from Northern Arizona University and a Master's Degree in Human Resources from Golden Gate University. My academic preparation, combined with my professional experience, provides the foundation for the knowledge and experience I bring to the classroom.
