Through historical insight and cultural reflection, Olivas highlights how Aztec traditions continue to shape Latine identity, migration stories, and community life in the Southwest. His presentation invites audiences to recognize the deep roots of Mesoamerican heritage in the region and to celebrate its enduring impact on
today’s cultural landscape.
Following Mr. Oliva’s presentation, Danza Azteca Grupo Coatlicue will facilitate an Aztec Dance Ceremony.
