Competitions Overview
Each year, the Maricopa Community Colleges sponsor a district-wide competition to encourage and recognize student achievement in the following categories. Winning students will be selected to have their work displayed or will be selected to perform at the Artists of Promise Gala in March 2023.

Video Game Design
Enter the Film Competition to showcase skills ranging from animation and game design to lighting, editing and acting. The entry window opens on November 28, 2022. The deadline to enter is March 21, 2023.
Music Competition

Enter the instrumental or vocal competition. The entry window opens on November 1, 2022. The deadline to enter is February 3, 2023.
Theatre Competition
Performance and Design
Enter the Theatre Design, actual or theoretical, or Acting and Performance competitions. The entry window opens on January 18, 2023. The deadline to enter is February 25, 2023.
