Fitness Centers

The Fitness Center at Glendale Community College provides a welcoming environment for students, employees and community members of all fitness levels. Our goal is to create a dynamic learning environment, encouraging participants to meet the U.S. National Physical Activity Guidelines under the guidance of degreed and certified instructors, in a clean and safe environment.

You'll find all the current fitness machines and tools - free weights, treadmills, elliptical machines, mats, stability balls and a TRX training system. Whether you enroll in the Fitness Center for college credit or non-credit classes, our qualified instructors can set up a fitness program to fit your needs. 

All participants are required to complete a pre-participation health screening form. Participants with disease risk factors may be required to obtain medical clearance prior to exercising.

Group Fitness

As a fitness center member, enjoy a variety of FREE group fitness classes at both GCC Main and GCC North Fitness Centers! Group Fitness classes are also open to Fitness Center credit students. See our Group Fitness schedule for a complete list of classes. 

Senior Fitness

We offer a wide variety of classes tailored for our senior members. Classes are offered at both GCC Main and GCC North campuses. See our Senior Fitness schedule for a complete list of classes and descriptions.

Get fit while earning college credit!

Our PED Courses are open to students, employees and community members of any fitness level. Try Hiking, TRX, Yoga or Zumba, and more!

The GCC Main Fitness Center and GCC North Fitness Center are open six days a week to fit busy schedules. The Adapted Fitness Center at GCC Main is open five days a week.
