Student Rental Assistance

Student Rental Assistance

The TBRA program is currently at capacity and cannot accept additional applications at this time.

We are here to help with housing insecurities

Glendale Community College, the City of Glendale and New Leaf have teamed up to provide eligible students with up to 24 months of rental assistance. It is called the Tenant-Based Rental Assistance (TBRA) program.

This temporary voucher program was created to provide housing opportunities for eligible individuals and families who are currently experiencing homelessness in Glendale but are “housing ready” and can likely sustain their housing after the period of assistance.

The program will be administered by A New Leaf and includes an application and case management support for applicants.

For GCC students, simply fill out the form below and and submit it. The GCC Basic Needs team will review your request and forward it to New Leaf for processing.

Rental Assistance and more

In addition to the 24 months of rental assistance, GCC students who are accepted into the TBRA program will have access to critical support services including employment, computers, life skills training, and academic support while they pursue their education.
