The show is about to start, so don't miss Phoenix Fashion Week Oct. 1-3, 2009. Phoenix fashion week will be held at the Hotel Valley Ho located in Scottsdale, and is said to grab the attention of fashionistas and even celebrities.
This will be the 5th annual fashion show held in Phoenix and will show everyone the new and upcoming Holiday 2009 designs as well as the Spring 2010 designer collections.
Get your tickets now to enjoy the new emerging designers of Arizona and also international designers.
A brand new and exciting event at fashion week, "Inspire Fashion," is a contest for 10 emerging designers to win $10,000 to help establish and support launching their own designer line.
Featured designers in the fashion show are Kiss The Girl, a high end Scottsdale shirt line, and FemmeAthletics by Brian Hill, executive director of Fashion Week. Executive Director Brian Hill began volunteering his time as a volunteer in the prior Phoenix Fashion Week and is now directing and having his own line in the show.
Hill is expecting over three-thousand people attending and thirty-four designers at this year's Phoenix Fashion Week. Within the three days of Phoenix fashion week there will be 24 runway shows and numerous open events for shoppers to buy designer wear at trade shows.
Unfortunately, not just any aspiring designer can display their collections at the Annual Phoenix Fashion Week. About 300 designers compete for a spot in the show and merely 24 designers present their designs to the media. Brian Hill said he was looking for an overall vision with quality craftsmanship and a wide variety of looks.
Phoenix Fashion Week, along with Dillard's and Revolution 3D, will be supporting Susan G. Komen Breast for the Cure Phoenix by hosting a fashion show in dedication, FASHIONABLY PINK, on Oct. 1.
The fashion show will include breast cancer survivors and celebrities walking down the runway in one of 36 designers' pink inspired clothing.
Within the profits of Fashion Week's FASHIONABLY PINK show, 10 percent of the proceeds will be donated to Susan G. Komen for the Cure Foundation.
Phoenix Fashion Week is the top fashion industry event in Arizona, so why not support a good cause and get the first look at upcoming trends?
The tickets are $30 per night and include eight fashion shows and two emerging designer shows.
Also available are VIP tickets for $60 that include admission to the runway shows and access to after parties, 21 and over. For tickets and additional information, contact Brian Hill at info@phoenixfashionweek.com.
