GCC coaches leave admirable legacy

As a new year of athletics begin at Glendale Community College (GCC), there are some changes in the coaching staff. Dave Grant, the decorated head coach of the Gaucho baseball team for 30 years, has stepped down to focus on his position as GCC athletic director.
As his replacement, is Paul Hatcher, who has been Grant's assistant coach for several years.
Hatcher has high hopes and expectations for the upcoming baseball season beginning this spring.
Women's Soccer had a winless season last year but its members are still upbeat. With new head coach Omid Aziminejad, a member of the pro-coaching staff at CISCO Soccer club,this season holds optimism.
Women's basketball also had a change of staff as Timi Brown takes the reins of the club.
Brown has had success at other schools, and hopes to do the same in Glendale.
