The struggle to survive: Organization fights to preserve global human rights

There is a revolution in the human rights campaign, which has exploded over the past decade.
International justice is a phrase that is commonly heard but not fully understood. It was with this idea that the Glendale Community College (GCC) chapter of Amnesty International (AI) had in mind when they sat down to plan their Justice without Borders event.

Tuesday, the 28th in the Student Union room 104A, B, and C a thirty five minute film on international justice. The film entitled Justice without Borders covered different cases from around the world that dealt with the violations of human rights and the fight to bring the perpetrators of theses crimes to justice.
After the showing of this film the GCC campus had the privilege of having Dr. William Simmons, professor of political science and director of the Masters program in Social Justice at ASU West. He addressed the audience and discussed the importance of universal justice, the pros and cons, the struggles, and every individual's responsibilities to the cause.
Amnesty International is an international non-governmental organization whose mission is to conduct research and generate action to prevent and end grave abuses of human rights and to demand justice for those whose rights have been violated.
