The battle for gay marriage
The evolution of a generation's will to think on its own

For years, only two states in America allowed same sex marriages. Over the span of a week that number has doubled.
Massachusetts and Connecticut are the dinosaurs of this idea and have given birth to the next generation consisting of Iowa and Vermont, thus far.
The next states rumored to take up this cause are New York and New Jersey.
According to recent CNN pools there has been a 44 percent increase in same sex supporters, and at the same time opposition has gone down.
The cause of this comes from a generally younger fraction of people who are more likely to support gay marriage than an older crowd, due to a changing social atmosphere.
It's about time that the generations of our parents and grandparents begin to loosen their grip on the strings of society.
The ancient and bias views of yesteryear have long over stayed its welcome.
The legalistic and dogmatic ways of our parents and our parent's parents can no longer force individuals to hide themselves, their views, and their opinions.
The majority is finally saying enough.
The majority sees that the ways of the past are wrong and have countless flaws restraining our rights as citizens of America. The world that today's generation has envisioned for itself is well on its way to becoming not just an idea but a reality.
Through baby steps and open minded thinking, we are slowly, but surely, creating the world we want to live in. No more going along with the "norm."
Today's generation has made a jump in evolution and is beginning to think for themselves. We will stop and ask why. We will not be spoon fed lies and just believe them.
The only way that change can be made is by lighting a fire and fanning the flames, before today no one had the poise to accomplish this task. It was the fires under the butts of legislators that helped pass these same-sex reforms.
Activism is alive and very well, it's kicking ass and taking names.
Stand up, fight and scream for what you think needs to happen.
