Tea Party protests make waves throughout country

By Jenna Duffy

The message was as clear as the April day it was spoken on; some people in America have had enough.

April 15 (Tax Day) marked a big day as protesters in all 50 states in over 300 cities protested the bailouts, the stimulus package, wasteful spending, Barack Obama, George W. Bush, the Federal Reserve and taxes in general.

This particular protest held outside the Phoenix Capitol was comprised of Republicans, Conservatives, disenfranchised Democrats, and many non-partisan demonstrators. All were outraged by the wasteful spending of the past three administrations.

John Morris, 35, a non- partisan attendant "I'm pretty much a protester of the government in general. I feel like it's been high jacked for a long time by a group of elite bankers whose ultimate goal is one world government."

"I see this country going towards Communism and new world order," says Rene Stricker, 52, and Constitutionalist."
