Brown named Division II Batter of the Week

Sophomore shortstop and team captain Karena Brown was named ACCAC Division II Batter of the Week for the week ending March 22. Brown turned in a batting average of .575 (19-for-33) that week, leading the team to a 9-0 record in the Spring Break Tournament, as well as wins over Illinois Central College, Eastern Arizona College and Seward County CC of Kansas.

As of March 22 Brown ranked 11th in the ACCAC in overall batting average (.472), and lead the conference in doubles (20).
