The holiday season is full of time to relax and just kick back with a movie.

Christmas always brings the traditional movies to watch on television or rent with family and friends.

Many of the films consist of the value of giving and the real meaning of Christmas.

Many of the traditional films are the ones to enjoy and just spend time with the ones closest to the heart.

So grab a cup of cocoa, a bag of popcorn and curl up with the family or friends to enjoy some of these classics.

Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer is an old classic that tells the story of an outcast reindeer with a red nose that lights up, an elf that wants to be a dentist, and an island of misfit toys who want to help Santa save Christmas.

Frosty the Snowman is another classic that is about a snowman that comes to life when the children place a magic hat on top of his head.

Frosty helps the children save Christmas and find the real meaning of giving.

Another classic film is How the Grinch Stole Christmas, a story based on the book by Dr. Seuss.

This story is about how the Grinch hates Christmas and plans to steal all of the presents from Whoville.

But he learns that Christmas is more about being with the people they love instead of presents.

The Grinch realizes that he really does have a heart and he learns to love Christmas.

Both the cartoon version and the version with Jim Carrey are equally entertaining for the family.

The annual classic that is on the television every year around the holidays is the A Charlie Brown Christmas.

This story is about how Charlie finds a thin and straggly looking tree for Christmas, but the rest of the Peanuts gang tease him for choosing the pathetic tree.

However, they all soon realize the real message of Christmas is showing affection to everything.

They learn this can make all the difference in someone's world and holiday.

One more movie to watch with the family and friends this season is The Polar Express, This film is about a young boy who is starting to doubt if there is a real Santa Claus.

The boy gets on a magical train ride headed for the North Pole. During his journey, the boy learns the truth that life never fades for those who will always believe.

Other movies to check out this season are the following: The Nightmare Before Christmas, Elf, A Christmas Story and The Santa Clause.
