John McCain is putting the country first with reform, prosperity, and peace.

In 1982, Arizona elected McCain into the U.S. House of Representatives where McCain has fought to reform Washington.

According to McCain's powerful remarks, he wishes to eliminate wasteful government spending to strengthen the nation's armed forces.

McCain has been fighting for the United States since he was 17 years old in the military; he is ready and willing to continue fighting for the American people.

Unlike Barack Obama, McCain is aware of the current issues and prepared to act immediately on dire issues. McCain has the experience, courage, judgment and a plan of action to assist America in the current hardships.

McCain has stated time and again, "We cannot spend the next four years as we have spent much of the last eight, waiting for our luck to change. Our troubles are getting worse; our enemies watch. We have to act immediately. We have to change direction now. We have to fight."

McCain has a plan to "protect the value of your home and get it rising again by buying up bad mortgages and refinancing them so if your neighbor defaults he doesn't bring down the value of your house with him."

Plans have been made for retirees to keep their money in a retirement account longer, as well as plans to rebuild the retirement savings for every worker.

McCain also plans to hold the line on taxes and cut them so that America will be more competitive as well as create more jobs.

"Raising taxes makes a bad economy much worse. Keeping taxes low creates jobs, keeps money in your hands and strengthens our economy," McCain said at a Virginia Beach rally.

Putting the government spending on a budget will help the value of American currency, help pull us out of debt or go further into debt, and it will cause the government to feel the weight of responsible spending the way the American people do every day.

McCain is going to focus government spending on only the most important programs like defense, veterans care, social security, and health care. He plans to eliminate the programs that aren't working, helpful, or beneficial to the American people.

McCain made this comment about health care at multiple rallies, "It won't fine small businesses and families with children, as Senator Obama proposes, to force them into a new huge government run health care program, while I keep the cost of the fine a secret until I hit you with it. I will bring down the skyrocketing cost of health care with competition and choice to lower your premiums, and make it more available to more Americans. I'll make sure you can keep the same health plan if you change jobs or leave a job to stay home."

McCain and his colleagues go in depth about how they intend to address the important issues like the economy, energy, national security, health care, Iraq, homeownership, veterans, immigration, education, the second amendment, judicial philosophy, homeland security, fighting crime, national heritage, agricultural policies, the sanctity of life, climate change, ethics reform, space program, national service, and technology on his website.

A vote for McCain is a vote to better your country
