British Band B4MV planning to on United States

The members of Bullet for My Valentine have been making great music for 10 years. First, without James, also known as Jay, who serves as the bassist now, the band, covered Nirvana and Metallica songs to gain popularity under the name of Jeff Killed John. But it wasn't until six years ago that they got a record deal, Jay and a new name: Bullet for My Valentine. Michael Thomas, known to everyone as "Moose," shared that the new name was decided upon "in a local pub." They started off very popular in their hometown Bridgend, Wales, in the UK and quickly became popular in the US. Moose recalls opening for Metallica as a "mind blowing and a great experience," since it was one of the bands that they covered when they were trying to get off the ground. They have also had the pleasure of opening for other bands that influenced them including Iron Maiden and Guns N Roses. This metalcore band has great sound, combining darkly crooned rock with earth shattering metal execution. The fans are greatly pleased with their new CD, "Scream Aim Fire," released in late January. The band grew up together from early childhood, and still remains a close knit family. They all even have nicknames. Matthew Tuck, also known as just "Tuck" takes care of vocals with the help of Michael "Padge" Padget, who also plays the guitar, and Jason "Jay" James, who is the newest member. Michael "Moose" Thomas said, "My nickname came from my dad and my friends soon started it after." The band is off to a great start with a successful sophomore album and may soon leave a legacy like many of their influences.
