Influx of sports in April divides fans' attention, loyalty to teams

Anyone who's a generic Arizona sports fan must have his/her head spinning like a record at a '70's disco right now. This is because for anyone without a definitive loyalty to one sport and/or team, there are too many places to turn come spring time.

Baseball hits stride going into season's final month

The only disappointing aspect for the Gauchos' baseball team this season have been the empty bleachers, thus far. And the absent fans are the ones missing out.

As of Monday, April 1st, the Gauchos had won 11 of their last 14 games overall, including five of six regional matches. Glendale holds first place in the ACCAC Division II with less than a month remaining in the regular season. The wins are piling up in all shapes and sizes for Glendale, but one looks just as good as another when all is said and done.

Tennis teams holding their own, softball struggles for consistency

In ACCAC softball, the shining example of Phoenix College (25-1 ACCAC, 47-4 overall) stands as the model of consistency. Glendale softball, on the other hand, has been consistently inconsistent.

Their longest winning streaks of both wins and losses are four games apiece. Only half of the win streak came against a conference rival.
