Binge-drinking poses huge risks

Rape. STDs. Car accidents. Serious injury. Fist fights. Bad grades. Death.

Would anyone knowingly partake in an activity that led to these outcomes?

While the answer should undoubtedly be no, most college students involve themselves in a ritual that could cause any and all of these consequences.

This evil is known as binge drinking.

Equality and personal freedom are concepts from which the basic American values are formed. But what do these ideas mean to college students in this day and age? When asked about his personal conception of equality, Mike Byrd, a student at Glendale Community College (GCC), described it as "the opportunity to do what anyone else can do or is doing."

Receive credits for talking about sex

For over 15 years, Glendale Community College (GCC) has offered sex classes. These courses are not the "birds and the bees" courses you received in grade school, however. Human sexuality courses go beyond basic knowledge and explore the topic of human sexuality from a variety of individual perspectives
