VOICE MAIL FEATURES
Welcome
The first time you call the Voice Messaging
Center (480.731.8866) you will be prompted to enter the password you were
assigned. If at anytime you change your password there will not be
a record of the new one. Should you forget your password, the process
of resetting it deletes any messages you may have.
The following instructions are for use
from your office phone. If you are using another phone or calling
from outside, you will be prompted to enter your mailbox (extension) number
before entering your password.
Tips
The * Key: Press
* to cancel or backup to the previous menu. If you make a mistake
entering a mailbox number or recording, press *. Pressing * several
times will disconnect you.
The # Key: Press
# to complete, skip or send. You can skip personal greetings and
introductory prompts by pressing #. An Extended Absence Greeting,
however, cannot be skipped.
Fast Delete: While
reviewing your messages, you may quickly fast forward and delete any unwanted
message by pressing 3 3 7.
Create Your Personal Greeting

Dial the Voice Messagine Center (18866)
-
Enter your password.
-
Press 4.
-
Press 3.
-
Press 1.
-
Press 2 to record your personal greeting.
-
After the tone record your greeting.
-
Press #.
-
Press 1 to replay your greeting. If
necessary, press star (*) to re-record your greeting.
-
Press # if you are satisfied.
-
Press ** to disconnect.
Create Extended Absence Greeting
-
Dial the Voice Messaging Center (18866).
-
Enter your password.
-
Press 4.
-
Press 3.
-
Press 2.
-
After the tone record your greeting indicating
you will be gone and not checking your messages.
-
Press #.
-
Press 1 to replay. If necessary, press
* to re-record greeting.
-
Press # if satisfied.
-
Press ** to disconnect.
Note: When you return
and call the Voice Messaging Center to receive your messages, you will
be prompted to delete the extended absence greeting. It will then
be replaced by your personal greeting.
Activate Message Service
-
Press Speaker or lift the handset; receive
dial tone.
-
Press Forward-All, Forward-No Answer, or Forward
Busy.
-
Broken dial tone is heard.
-
Dial the Voice Messaging Center (18866).
-
Service-set tone is heard; display indicates
FWD SET.
-
Press Speaker or return handset to cradle.
Cancel Message Service
-
Depress Speaker or lift the handset; receive
dial tone.
-
Depress Forward-All, Forward-No Answer or
Forward-Busy.
-
Display indicates FWD CNCL
-
Press Speaker or return handset to cradle.
Create and Send a Message
-
Dial the Voice Messaging Center (18866)
-
Enter your password.
-
Press 2.
-
After the tone record your message.
-
Press #.
-
Enter the mailbox (extension) number of the
person to receive the message.
Delivery Options:

Private

Press # to send the message. (When sending
to multiple mailboxes repeat steps 6 and 7.)

Press ** to disconnect.
Review Messages

Dial the Voice Messaging Center (18866)

Enter your password.

Press 1 to review new messages.

*Listen to message.

Select next instruction:

Repeat steps 4 and 5 for each message.

Rewind (1-1 rewind to beginning)

Fast forward (3-3 forward to end)

Slower speed (depress 2 seconds)

Create a Distribution List

Dial the Voice Messaging Center (18866).

Enter your password.

Assign the list a number between 11-20.

Assign the list a name.

Press #.

Enter the mailbox numbers.

Press ** to disconnect.
Create and Send a Message to a Distribution
List

Dial the Voice Messaging Center (18866).

Enter your password.
-
Press 2.
-
After the tone record your message.
-
Press #.
-
Enter the list number.
-
Press # to send.
-
Press ** to disconnect.
Timed Message Delivery
-
Dial the Voice Messaging Center (18866).
-
Enter your password.
-
Press 2.
-
After the tone record your message.
-
Press #.
-
Enter the mailbox (extension) number of the
person to receive the message.

Press 4.
-
Press 1 to specify date.
-
Enter month and day of delivery.
-
Enter time of delivery.
-
Press #.
-
Press ** to disconnect.
Transfer Message to Other Mailbox
-
Dial the Voice Messaging Center (18866)
-
Enter your password.
-
Press 1 to review new messages.
-
Listen to message.
-
Press 6.
-
Record introduction to message.
-
Press #.
-
Enter transferee's mailbox number.
-
Press #.
-
Press *
-
Press 7 to erase original message or 9 to
save it.
-
Press ** to disconnect.
Transfer a
Caller to an Individual's Voice Mailbox:
-
Depress the TRANSFER key once. DO NOT
place the call on hold (receive service tone).
-
Dial the Voice Messaging Center (18866).
-
Press *.
-
Enter the mailbox (extension) number of the
person to receive the message, then hangup.
-
The caller will be connected.
Recover
a Transfer Call from Voice Mail:
If you Transfer a caller and reach Voice
Mail, you can retrieve the caller to transfer them to another number by
pressing the * button four times (****).
