What is CTLE?
Center for Teaching, Learning and Engagement CTLE (AKA TED) provides comprehensive in-service training and training resources for GCC employees, as well as our neighboring sister colleges. Training and workshops are available on desktop computer programs, college management information systems, E-mail, World Wide Web, and other Internet resources, and telephone and voice mail technologies. In addition to regularly scheduled workshops, customized training and individual assistance are available.All employees are invited to utilize the resources in the CTLE, located in HT2-139, on the main GCC campus. Computers are equipped with the latest software. Equipment available includes: fully networked Windows and Macintosh computers connected to laser printers, fax machine, scanner, color printer, and a courtesy phone.
The CTLE, in conjunction with GCC Faculty and Staff Development, publishes a monthly calendar of events which includes: professional development workshops, faculty development, computer training, diversity, and other technology-related skills.
