Technology Acquisitions & Inventory
The Technology Acquisitions & Inventory (TAI) is a functional workgroup of the Instructional and Administrative Technical Support.  Our group was formed under the IT reorganization in 2007 to focus on purchasing, building, servicing academic, administrative computers, supplies and peripherals. 

Location & Hours of Operation
We are located in A-56 or current hours of operation are Mon-Thurs 7:00am to 6:00pm and Friday 7:00am to 5:00pm.

Technology Acquisitions
Our team purchases all campus technology including hardware, software, consulting services, phone and data infrastructure, maintenance contracts and campus computing supplies such as ink, toner and printer paper.

Inventory
We track all technology inventory including equipment relocations, moves, additions, changes for computers, monitors, scanners and projectors.  We use a standards business practices to maintain a responsible stewardship of taxpayer dollars.

Hardware Repair and Maintenance Services
Each year our team builds and deploys 500-800 computers across labs, classrooms and administrative offices.  By building each machine, our technicians have the knowledge to trouble shoot and repair with a short turnaround time less than two hours.  We also have certified technicians on staff to repair PC’s, Mac’s and HP LaserJet printers.  Maintenance contracts are also maintained for warranty repairs on Epson and HP printers.
