Step 2: Course Placement Testing
New or returning students must submit a Student Information Form to the Enrollment Center before testing.Course placement tests are administered by Testing Services located in the Testing and Disability Services (TDS) building. Student must arrive on time, bring current photo identification and a #2 pencil.
Students should present a copy of thier test scores to the Academic Advisor and Enrollment Services Technician.
Testing is required for:
- Students enrolling an English, mathematics, or a reading course, or a course for which English, mathematics, or reading is a prerequisite.
- Degree seeking students.
- Financial aid recipients.
- Students whose primary language is not English.
Testing Services (Assessment Center) is located in the Testing and Disability Services building . Course placement testing takes approximately two hours. Please be on time.
Student should complete:
A review test prior to taking the ASSET. A review test is available online at:
- Numerical Skills (for students with little or no high school algebra)
- Elementary Algebra (for students with at least one year of high school algebra)
- Intermediate Algebra (for students with at least two years of high school algebra)
- College Algebra (for students with at least two years of high school algebra)

Please Note: College is closed on Fridays June through July. Additional testing is available on selected Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. during the months of January and August.
