  • Jim Eisenreich was diagnosed with Tourette Syndrome (a neurological impairment) at a young age. Jim was a very successful major league baseball player and is now the director of his own Tourette Syndrome foundation. He travels troughout the country supporting youth with Tourette Syndrome. Congratulations Jim!
  • Former Denver Nuggets player, Chris Jackson, also has Tourette Syndrome. Chris stated that "God gives you an infirmity, but he also gives you a strength...for every weakness you have, you  have strength...whether you are a basketball player or an artist, it's up to you to find that strength and deal with it to overcome your weaknesses." Thank you for your inspiration Chris!
  • Heather Urick was crowned Ms. Wheelchair Arizona on March 19, 2005. She is very articulate when it comes to speaking about diability awareness. Ms. Urick stated, "To have a disability, is to have the strength to overcome life's everyday challenges. Disablities need to be celebrated, not ignored." Congratulations Heather!
