| My name is Sharon Blanton
and I am a returning student at Glendale Community College (GCC)
pursuing a certificate in the Psychology of Developmental Disabilities.
My former job with United Cerebral Palsy of Michigan inspired me to
reach out to all people who are sometimes oppressed due to their
diversity. During the 2005 school term I was selected to serve as a Diversity Intern and a Mentor at GCC. As a Diversity Intern, I chose three goals, which enabled me to support students with disabilities. The objective of those goals was designed to support and provide information to students with disabilities.
