Shirt Procurement Policy
This policy establishes procurement guidance for Club and Associated Student Government shirts. There are two categories of shirts; those which are exclusively for clubs or ASG usage and those procured in support of a campus-wide event.
First, the shirt requests for clubs and ASG are limited to an amount not exceeding $525.00 per club per academic school year. These shirts must be used to advertise clubs or ASG on campus and at public events. The only exceptions will be for new members joining the clubs or ASG and newly elected officers for clubs or ASG. In addition, the requests must clearly show how the procurement of shirts will further awareness of the club. Funding for shirts will not be considered
separately from the clubs’ proposed spending plans.
Secondly, campus-wide events are exempt from the monetary boundary of $525.00 per academic school year. ASG will vote on a case by case basis to allocate funding for shirts for campus-wide events.
Any deviation from this policy must be referred to the ASG Rules Committee, which will make a recommendation at an open business meeting for a majority vote on the issue.
Associated Student Government reserves the right to deny any request for funding for shirts. Shirt requests are subject to availability of funding.
