The Glendale Community College is proud to present the following individuals as instructors:

Jerry McCown has been a law enforcement professional since 1967. His varied career has encompassed field work, investigations, tactial operations (aka SWAT), administration and training. His key area of expertise is in firearms training, having been a certified Law Enforement Firearms Instructor since 1971. In addition, he is a GCC adjunct instructor, doing non-police and Law Enforcement Training Academy firearms training, teaching at the Gunsite Academy, and teaching the Law Enforcement Firearms Instructor course for the Arizona Peace Officer Standards and Training (AzPOST) Board.

Lori Hauserman has been with the Glendale Police Department since 1989 as an officer, firearms instructor and armorer. Her career includes past range master for Glendale Police Department and adjunct instructor at the prestigious Thunder Ranch in Texas. She is a certified NRA and Arizona Peace Officer Standards and Training (AzPOST) firearms instructor and is a member of the AzPOST Subject Matter Expert (SME) Committee for firearms. In addition, she is an instructor for the AzPOST/NRA Firearms Instructor Certification Course.
