The Psychology Club and Psi Beta National Honor Society work in tandem to serve the needs of GCC students interested in psychology. Any student may join the Psychology Club. Students who have met the requirements for membership in the National Honor Society in Psychology for Community & Junior Colleges may join Psi Beta. Psi Beta's mission is the professional development of psychology students through promotion and recognition of excellence in scholarship, leadership, research, and community service. Psi Beta is an affiliate of the American Psychological Association and Association for Psychological Science and a member of the Association of College Honor Societies. MEETING SCHEDULEMeetings are held every other week on Fridays at 2:00pm. Meetings to discuss ongoing research projects and Western Psychology Association conference attendance occur on an as-needed basis. Meeting Dates: February 10th, March 2th, 9th, and 30th, April 6th and 20th, and May 4th PSI BETA @ THE WESTERN PSYCHOLOGICAL ASSOCIATION CONFERENCE Kristopher Smith, Drea Nolan, Kristina Rowden, and Korah Maruska presented their original research projects during the poster sessions at WPA.
