Early Childhood Education

Early childhood education is a large field encompassing a variety of careers working with families and children from birth to eight years of age. Child care workers typically work in child care centers, as nannies, and as family childcare providers. Preschool teachers, early educators, and early childhood program administrators typically work in educational settings and Head Start programs, with the goal of providing quality early education to build a solid foundation.
