Bio
Biography
Jayme Cook is a writer and educator born in the bluegrass of southern Ohio and raised in the Phoenix heat. She has attended all three state universities in Arizona: U of A, Creative Writing; ASU, bachelors of English; and NAU, masters of Education. In between, she traveled to Wales to complete a graduate Creative & Media Writing program.
Cook has been teaching at GCC for six years. Her writing has appeared in Arizona Highways Magazine, Bottle Rockets, Coyote Brings Fire, The Phoenix New Times, and HVACR Today. She continues to write professionally part-time while teaching, is a fanatic horror movie fan, and has a puggle named Astrid.
