Dr. Christina Eide

Dr. Christina Eide received her Bachelor of Music degree from Capital University Conservatory of Music, winning the Most Outstanding Graduate Award. She was awarded a Masters of Music degree from the Peabody Conservatory of Johns Hopkins University. While serving as a teaching assistant in piano, she earned her Doctor of Musical Arts degree from Arizona State University. She won first place in the Arizona State Wurlitzer Collegiate Artist competition in 1987.
She has performed at regional conferences of the the Society of Composers, and performed in chamber recitals at the Regional and National Conferences of the Northern Saxophone Alliance. She also has performed at the World Saxophone Conference in Montreal, Quebec. Dr, Eide has been teaching at Glendale Community College since 1991.
