Welcome to the Music Program at GCC
The Music Program offers instruction in instrumental music, choral music and production technology. At GCC, a comprehensive faculty with diverse experience in the field will help you learn concepts of music, as well as develop individual talents through a wide variety of courses in music performance, pedagogy, theory and music production. Students may participate in GCC's Concert Band, Choirs, Guitar Ensemble, Jazz Ensemble, Jazz Combos, Percussion Ensemble, and Musical Theatre Workshop. Concerts throughout each semester showcase student performers and a variety of renowned guest artists and clinicians. Music students from all disciplines take part in afternoon and evening recitals. Facilities for computer music and studio recording reflect the latest equipment and technology.
