Glendale Community College

Student Guide to Information Technology on Campus

Introduction

Enrollment Center

In your search for the right college or university, we are pleased you are considering Glendale Community College (GCC). One of the best tactics in researching a school is to ask questions. Remember, there are no "dumb" questions, just those you want answers to before you make a commitment.

This website is based on a guide developed by EDUCAUSE in cooperation with the National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC) and the American Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers (AACRAO). It will help you in answering those questions that you have related to Information Technology at GCC.

Computers are everywhere and will be a big part of your college experience. While a campus's technology resources, support, and services will not be the only factors you consider, they are important, variable, and too often misunderstood.

Since the opening of the High Tech Center 1 building in 1986, GCC has been recognized for our commitment to leading edge technology.  Since then, we have opened multiple labs and equipped over 30 classrooms with computers for use in a wide range of academic disciplines.  Our newly opened Life Sciences building is another example of the integration of innovative technologies into our Nursing and Biology programs.

Glendale Community College is pleased to participate in this effort by providing our responses to the questions posed in the EDUCAUSE Student Guide, both in this website and in a downloadable PDF.
