GCC and NAU Partner to Offer Communication Degree in the West Valley
A Bachelor of Science in "Speech Communication with an Emphasis in Organizational Communication" from Northern Arizona University (NAU) can now be obtained without ever leaving the Valley, thanks to a new partnership between NAU and Glendale Community College (GCC). Students who complete the program will have an Associate's degree from GCC and a Bachelor's degree from NAU. All required classes are taken on the GCC campus. GCC professors teach the first two years' curriculum at GCC tuition rates, and NAU professors teach the last two years' curriculum at NAU tuition rates. Financial aid and tuition payment plans are available for those who qualify. Students enjoy a seamless transition into the university portion. Admission into this program is easy, due to GCC's open admission policy. This program will help students gain a better understanding of how organizations work and how they can be effective leaders by optimizing their communication skills.
