Even after that date, many late-start or self-paced classes will still be available. Such flexible learning includes computer classes as well as math, psychology, English and more. GCC Offers New Certificate in "Information Security for Wireless Networks"
"Information Security for Wireless Networks," a new Certificate of Completion offered at GCC, gives students a new, rapid pathway to an in-demand career field. This certificate provides students with the knowledge and tools to design secure wireless local area networks (LANs), defend wireless LANs against hacking, implement wireless LAN security solutions, and understand the impact of new wireless solutions. The certificate is part of a comprehensive Information Security program that prepares students for internationally recognized industry certification. The certificate requires only 23 credit hours--most Associates degrees require 60-65 credits, and most Bachelors degrees require 125 or more credits. Certificates of Completion are a good choice for those who seek immediate entry into the work force or on-the-job advancement. For more information on this new program or any of the more than 50 other GCC certificate programs, visit the campus at 6000 W. Olive Ave. in Glendale to see an academic advisor in the Enrollment Center, or call 623.845.3097. Spring classes begin Jan. 17, 2006.
