GCC Meets Buckeye Paramedic Training Needs
Glendale Community College will launch a customized paramedic training class in direct response to a request from the city of Buckeye. GCC Paramedic Program Coordinator Chris Coughlin developed a special 10-month program for 18-24 Buckeye fire fighters which begins in January and provides 40 credit hours of instruction. "We like to be able to respond quickly to the needs of the community whenever possible," says Coughlin. "They came to the right place—over the last three years, 100% of GCC's paramedic graduates have achieved state certification and national registration."
