"Flex-Learning" Classes Still Open for Registration at GCC

Many class options for the fall semester remain available at Glendale Community College. Though regular classes have begun in most colleges and universities, GCC offers students numerous "Flex-Learning" opportunities available throughout the semester. Computerized Accounting, Microsoft Word, Excel and Computer Graphics are just a few of more than 100 "open-entry/self-paced" classes that students can start at any time and finish at their own pace. "Late-start" classes begin later in the semester—some as late as October or November—such as Dance Performance I, Computer-Aided Design classes, Urban Plant Care and First-Year English Composition. "Online" classes are taught on the Internet, offering students convenience in learning. A schedule that lists all open-entry/self-paced, late-start, and online classes will be available after Aug. 31 by calling 623.845.3333 or 623.845.3331.

GCC Associated Student Government provides funds for the prizes and refreshments. The public is invited to this free event. GCC is located at 6000 W. Olive Ave. in Glendale.

GCC To Celebrate Constitution Day, Sept. 16
