Time, Memories and Landscape Featured in Photo Exhibit

Professor Dean K. Terasaki of the Glendale Community College Art Department will open his photography exhibition of autobiographical triptychs titled "Tablets, Notations and Lori's Gift," on July 1, 2005. Terasaki, M.F.A., has taught at GCC since 1986 and is the lead photography instructor. The show will be held at The Kitchenette, a collaborative gallery of 11 photographers at 918 N. 6th Street in Phoenix, behind the Red Eye Gallery. The exhibition is free and open to the public, but is viewable by appointment only, except for the following three receptions when the artist will be present: Fri., July 1, 6-10 p.m., Sat., July 2, 12-4 p.m., and Fri., July 15, 6-10 p.m. The exhibit will reflect the passage of time, memory, being a parent, entering late middle age, and the Arizona landscape. Contact Terasaki at d.terasaki@gcmail.maricopa.edu for more information or to schedule a viewing appointment.
